An extremely rare didrachm of Epipalos from Amathos

CYPRUS. Amathos. Epipalos, circa 370/60 BC. Didrachm (Silver, 20 mm, 6.46 g, 12 h), Rhodian standard. Lion recumbent to right; above, eagle flying right. Rev. [𐠁𐠠𐠞𐠒] ('e-pi-pa-lo' in Cypriot syllabic script) Forepart of a lion to right. Amandry, Amathonte, 132, D1/-. BMC 1 (same obverse die). Extremely rare and beautifully toned. Struck slightly off center and with a few old scrapes, otherwise, very fine.
